In Persona 3 Reload, managing your daily schedule and building Social Links is essential for unlocking powerful Persona fusions and enhancing your stats. Among the diverse cast of characters scattered across Iwatodai, Nozomi Suemitsu represents the Moon Arcana. Known self-proclaimedly as the Gourmet King, his storyline explores deeper themes of personal identity beneath a quirky facade.
Unlocking the Moon Social Link
To initiate Nozomi's Social Link, players must first fulfill a few specific prerequisites during their playthrough. You need to reach Rank 3 with Kenji Tomochika to hear about Nozomi, reach Charm Rank 2, and answer his food trivia quiz at Paulownia Mall correctly. Additionally, carrying an Odd Morsel item in your inventory is required to complete his initial introduction.
It is highly recommended to start this Social Link before the summer break begins to avoid scheduling conflicts later. Nozomi sits on a bench near the fountain at Paulownia Mall during daytime hours. Keeping a Moon Arcana Persona in your active stock will also boost the relationship points earned during hangouts.
Best Dialogue Options and Progression
Advancing through Nozomi's ten ranks requires choosing dialogue responses that support his passion while gently guiding him toward self-reflection. Early interactions focus on his obsession with food trivia and local restaurants. Supporting his enthusiasm during these ranks builds trust rapidly.
As the Social Link progresses, the narrative shifts toward Nozomi's struggles with family expectations and his late brother. Encouraging him to be true to himself rather than living in someone else's shadow yields the best outcome. Correct responses ensure you reach Rank 10 efficiently without wasting free days.
Rewards for Maxing Nozomi Suemitsu
Reaching Rank 10 with Nozomi unlocks the ultimate Persona of the Moon Arcana, Sandalphon, for fusion in the Velvet Room. You will also receive the Gourmet License key item as a symbol of your maxed bond. Completing his arc provides a touching resolution to his character development, making the investment worthwhile.
